Happy Halloween!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! And Happy Halloween!!

In the spirit of this spooky holiday, I have a Halloween-themed event concept to share with you today. My goal in these concept themes is to not only showcase my ideas and creativity, but to challenge myself to come up with event themes that are unique with details that have not been paired together over and over again. My source for these inspirations is Pinterest (find me as Grzymala Galas), and will serve as exactly that if ever executed in real events – inspiration. I pride myself on tailoring each and every one of my events to fit my clients’ personal styles, and will always offer the utmost attention to detail in all signature events.

That being said, please enjoy this event concept, and check back weekly for new themes!!

Fabulously Freaky Halloween Wedding

This week’s event concept is meant to celebrate a couple’s undying love in the most unlikely way. The intricate details in this elegantly whimsical, gothic wedding are so scarily beautiful, they would be perfect in October for the unique, non-traditional couple looking to offer their guests a hair-raising good time!

Color Scheme

Burnt Orange, Black, Gray, White, and Dusty Purple, with Gold accents.

Atmosphere (Ceremony)

Guests to this event will be treated to woodland simplicity for the ceremony, being seated in rows of wooden chairs, edged with tree stumps topped with candelabras. On each chair, guests will find bottles of “Love Potion” to sprinkle over the couple as they make their way back up the aisle. Nature provides the rest of the backdrop with brilliantly-colored leaves, and a brisk, but temperate environment.

Arrival to Reception

Guests will find their names and table assignments written in gold calligraphy on black cardstock and tied to keys. They will also be asked to sign well-wishes to the newlyweds on the white pumpkin guest “book”.

Atmosphere (Reception)

The reception space is spectacularly spooky with dim, intimate lighting and a light fog about the room. Tables will be set with lace covered pumpkins, surrounded by small candles, and table numbers in gothic frames. Walls will be draped with sheer black drapes, illuminated by warm twinkling lights.

Wedding Party Attire

The bridal party will be dressed in elegant monochrome shades of gray, with the bride donning elegant lace detailing and vintage accessories. The ladies will carry brilliantly colored bouquets to offset the deeper tones of their dresses. The groom and his groomsmen are dressed in classic black tuxes with brightly colored boutonnieres, secured with unique pins in the shape of skeleton hands.

Food and Drinks

Warm appetizers and dramatic cocktails will be served before the seated dinner. A gorgeously intricate cake celebrating the ultimate commitment will be served midway through the festivities.

Reception Entertainment

In addition to plenty of dancing and music played by a live DJ, guests will enjoy a spooky, but beautiful photobooth, and an all-you-can-snack candy buffet.

Wedding Favors/Appreciation

As they make their way home, guests will be offered a sweet treat to enjoy now, as well as mini succulents to decorate their homes later, as a way for the bride and groom to share their thanks for partaking in their spooky special day.
